Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has disclosed plans for his administration to form a panel of investigation into the state’s governance. This was said by Governor Fubara on Monday, following Dagogo Iboroma’s oath of office as the state’s attorney general. The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) had just been vetted and approved by the House of Assembly, which is chaired by Victor Oko-Jumbo. He made it clear that the state was in a dire situation and that there was no way to overcome the political issue. The governor, who was looking for a peaceful resolution to the state’s problem, accused his opponents of purposefully undermining his government. He promised to make difficult choices going forward.
