… to name the road after Mama Onikepo AKANDE
Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has announced immediate rehabilitation of Bode to Challenge and more importantly, Idi-Odo to Felele Rab road.
He also added that upon completion, the Idi-Odo- Felele Road will be named after Chief Mrs Onikepo Akande CON.
The approval came a day after Oyoparrot.com reported the bad state of the road and the problems facing by the residents.
Oyoparrot has in the last 24hours reported how the people of Felele / Olorunsogo, in the Ibadan Southeast local government area of Oyo state, have urged the state governor, Seyi Makinde to carry out the rehabilitation of Felele Idi -Odo To Express Junction Road.
The Felele Idi Odo-To Express Junction Road has been in a deplorable condition for years and a call was made to Governor Seyi for total rehabilitation of the road, to ease the hardship currently being experienced by motorists and other road users, especially during the rainy season.
The residents said, the governor’s intervention would put an end to the age-long suffering of residents in the area.
Now the state governor during the commissioning of some completed inner roads in Ibadan and in his interest for development announced the approval of the said Idi-Odo to Felele Rab.
