In a significant boost to local security efforts, the Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has presented a new generator set to the Amotekun Corps in the local government area. The donation took place on Monday at the local government secretariat.
The generator set is intended to enhance the operational capabilities of the base of the agency, ensuring reliable power supply for essential security operations and schedules. The gesture underscores the Chairman’s commitment to supporting local law enforcement agencies and improving their effectiveness in maintaining safety and order.
During the presentation to Alh. Masika, the agency’s commandant in the local government area, Hon. Kamorudeen highlighted the importance of equipping security personnel with the necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently. “Our security agencies play a crucial role in safeguarding our community. By providing this generator set, we aim to support their efforts and ensure they have the resources needed to carry out their responsibilities effectively,” he stated.
