Lagelu Chair, Kamoru Commends Rep Lafisoye On Facilitated (6) Blocks Of Classrooms in Lalupon, Announces Three Major Initiatives On Education

The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen on Thursday celebrated a major advancement in educational facilities with the commissioning of six new classroom blocks at Community Grammar School, Lalupon. The project, facilitated by House of Representatives’ member, Hon. Lafisoye Akinmoyede, aims to provide a better learning environment for students.

At the commissioning, the council boss described the project as a major initiative that marks a significant step forward in the efforts to foster educational excellence and empower young minds. He commended Rep. Akinmoyede for his dedication, passion, and tireless efforts in making the project a reality, maintaining the his works exemplifies what it means to truly serve the community with integrity and purpose.

During the commissioning ceremony, Executive Chairman, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen announced a scholarship scheme that will support 30 students from different local schools for West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC), as a help to alleviate financial barriers to education. He also announced “Operation Light Up Our Schools project,” an initiative designed to introduce lighting in educational facilities, to ensure nighttime vigilance and safety in learning facilities.

Additionally, Hon. Kamorudeen unveiled plans for academic coaching programs targeted at students across the local government area. The three initiatives announced by the chairman are intended to enhance academic performance and provide essential support to learners.
