The Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele has expressed his deep sadness and shock over the passing of Hon. Kolawole Kolapo Oladimeji(Planner), councilor representing Wakajaye/Monatan Ward 7 until his death, a renowned politician passed away in the afternoon of Wednesday 22nd January, 2025.
Hon. Sanda described Hon. Oladimeji’s death as a rude shock and extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late councilor, his colleagues and PDP in Egbeda local government. He praised Hon. Oladimeji as an exemplary politician who tirelessly worked towards realizing his beliefs, and noted that his absence will be deeply felt in Egbeda local government politics.
The chairman prayed for God to grant repose to Hon. Oladimeji and to give his family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
Hon. Oladimeji passing marks the end of a remarkable political journey, and will be remembered for his contributions to governance and community development in Egbeda local government and Oyo State at large.
