A popular Lagos-based musician of Ilorin origin, Mukaila Senwele, has passed away.
It was reported that the talented artist died unexpectedly on Friday.
Mukaila Senwele, who hailed from the Esinrogunjo family compound in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, was widely admired for his unique style of entertainment. A charismatic performer, he was beloved by socialites who celebrated his remarkable prowess on stage.
According to ROYAL NEWS, a family member revealed that Mukaila showed no signs of illness prior to his sudden death.
“He was with his fans throughout the day and even promised to come to the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the night,” the source recounted.
Tragically, his family received an emergency call later that evening, notifying them of his condition. “When we arrived where he had lodged with his fans, my elder brother (name withheld) and others tried to rush him to the hospital.
Unfortunately, we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the family member said.
He passed away a few moments before midnight, and his Janazah (Islamic funeral) has been scheduled for Saturday morning.
