Hon. Kunle Bankole, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oriire Local Government Area, has thanked Oyo State Governor, Eng. Seyi Makinde, for the opportunity to serve as member of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Governing Council in 2021.

His gratitude followed the announcement of new board members and chairman in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi after the expiration of his tenure.

In his appreciation message on Monday, Bankole expressed his deep appreciation to Governor Makinde for the opportunity to serve on the board, describing it as a “rare privilege.”

He also thanked the governor for his confidence in his ability to contribute to the board’s work.
Bankole, who served on the board for five years, however noted that the experience was both fulfilling and inspiring.
The former council boss praised Governor Makinde’s leadership and reiterated his commitment to the values and vision guiding the state.
He said: “I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to His Excellency, Eng. Seyi Makinde, for the privilege of serving on LAUTECH Board. It was a singular and extraordinary honour to serve in this capacity, and I deeply appreciate your confidence in my ability to contribute to the board’s work during my tenure.
“The opportunity to serve the people of Oyo State alongside dedicated colleagues has been both fulfilling and inspiring. I am proud of what we were able to achieve together under your leadership, and I remain committed to the values and vision that guide our state.
