As part tributes filled with admiration and gratitude, the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, has celebrated the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal, describing him as a “pillar of support, mentor, and father figure.”

The warm felicitation came as part of the celebrations marking the birthday of the Deputy Governor, who has continued to garner respect and love from across political and social circles in the state for his humility, leadership, and unwavering commitment to public service, especially in providing stability to the government of Governor Seyi Makinde.

Olatunji, in a personally signed statement released on Monday, April 14, the Council boss extolled the virtues of the Deputy Governor, emphasizing the significant role he has played in guiding not just the younger generation of politicians, but also in ensuring stability within the state government.

In his words: “Your Excellency, words cannot fully capture the depth of gratitude I feel today. You have been more than a leader to me and my family, you’ve been a mentor, a pillar of support, and a father to us.

“Your wisdom, integrity, and exceptional humility continue to inspire those of us privileged to walk this path under your guidance.”

He further praised Barr. Lawal for his loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde and his instrumental role in the implementation of key policies under the current administration.
