Olatunji’s 11 months in office had bring succor to the people of his district, who in large number have been yearning of real change in their representation for years back.
Many of them see in him as beacon of hope, who has been committed to their course and had at one time or the other provided leadership in every stratum of the communities that made up the Oluyoles. Well connected with his people, Asiwaju believes that disconnecting a leader from the people is like cutting off his oxygen since serving the people is the sole purpose of leadership.
Asiwaju always said his priority in office is to provide his constituency a good representation without been politically, religiously or ethnically bias.
