The Executive Chairman of Atiba Local Government, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji (WABKEM), has called for orderliness and cooperation from participants of the ongoing Omituntun Free Medical Mission at Basorun Primary Health Care Center, Aafin, Oyo.
During an on-the-spot assessment of the program, Hon. WABKEM emphasized that maintaining order and adhering to instructions from healthcare professionals is essential for the smooth running and timely delivery of medical services during the mission.
He commended the impressive turnout, noting that it reflects the public’s alignment with Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration and its commitment to key pillars such as healthcare.
The Chairman also lauded the medical team for their dedication, professionalism, and the excellent arrangements put in place, describing the setup as highly commendable. He wished them success in their crucial task of promoting better health across Oyo State.
Hon. WABKEM expressed deep appreciation to Governor Makinde for initiating the Free Health Mission, stating that it will significantly address the health needs of the people, particularly the less privileged.
In his remarks, the leader of the medical team, Dr. Aremu Adekunle, expressed satisfaction with the turnout and assured attendees that everyone would be attended to. He confirmed that sufficient medical personnel and supplies are available to meet both medical and surgical needs.
Accompanying the Chairman were the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Kayode Ademola; Chief of Staff, Hon. Saheed Olasunkanmi; councillors, supervisors, and other senior local government officials.
