
In a moment of resounding acclaim, the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has bestowed the prestigious National Outstanding Leadership Performance Award for 2025 upon Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, the Chairman of Lagelu Local Government Area in Oyo State. Recognized as the Outstanding Local Government Chairman in Nigeria, Hon. Kamorudeen’s transformative leadership and unwavering commitment to community development have earned him this distinguished honor, cementing his legacy as a beacon of good governance.
The award, presented at a grand ceremony attended by dignitaries, students, and community leaders, celebrates Hon. Kamorudeen’s exemplary contributions to grassroots development, infrastructure, security, and economic empowerment in Lagelu. NAPS, a revered body representing polytechnic students across Nigeria, lauded the chairman for his innovative policies and people-centric initiatives that have redefined local governance under the Omituntun Governance System championed by Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
