
The Management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, held the July edition of its Interfaith Prayer Session at the 1000-Capacity Hall, Middle Belt Campus.
The event commenced with the arrival and recognition of directors, deans, staff, students, and invited Imams. With the presence of the Rector, Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi, and other principal officers, the session formally began with brief Christian and Islamic prayers.

The Christian exhortation was delivered by Pastor Matthew Uzezi Effomah, Area Superintendent of The Apostolic Church, Agbowo Area. He was joined by Pastor Wole Dahunsi of Covenant Champions Global Assembly, who also led prayers.

The Islamic session featured Imam Ibrahim Adeleke, and Imam Hamzat Tajudeen, Chief Imam of The Polytechnic, Ibadan Central Mosque, who offered Quranic exhortation and prayer.
In his closing remarks, the Rector appreciated the turnout and encouraged continued spiritual reflection, unity, and peaceful coexistence within the Polytechnic community
