

The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has felicitated with Muslims in the council area, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Id el Maulud, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a goodwill message issued on Friday, Hon. Kamorudeen described Id el Maulud as a season of reflection, unity, and renewal of faith in the Prophet’s timeless teachings of peace, humility, compassion, and community service.

“As we celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad, let us be inspired by his exemplary life of kindness and dedication to the welfare of others. This moment calls us to strengthen communal bonds and work together for the continued growth and prosperity of Lagelu,” the chairman said.

He reassured residents of his administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive development, citing ongoing efforts in infrastructure, security, and economic empowerment as part of his governance agenda. Hon. Kamorudeen further pledged to align his programmes with the developmental strides of Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, to ensure lasting progress in the area.
The council boss also urged residents to use the Maulud celebration to pray for peace, unity, and the prosperity of Lagelu, Oyo State, and Nigeria. He wished Muslims a joyful and spiritually fulfilling celebration.
