In their bid to establish and solidify the group, members of the group come together to make Dr Taiwo Lasisi the Mogaji of the group, in a fun fare and joyous atmosphere Dr lasisi was crowded as Mogaji of the De-metrics with all traditional rites and symbols such as beads, akoko leafs, and colanut.
The fun fare chieftaincy was done by the chairman of the group who is also a commissioner emeritus in Oyo state as he has been commissioner in more than 5 ministries in the state in person of Prof D.K Sangodoyin and the baale ojuodo of U.I Staff club Prof. Mojeed Akinsola, while the olori-ebi of governor SEYI Makinde political dynasty, latest Alhaji and sò okó pè Alhaji in person of Hon. Babatunde Tijani DOUBLE T was the coronation day father of the day, dignitaries and members gracefully attended the coronation party, though the Mogaji is a strong and powerful chieftaincy in ibadanland and was justle by many members in the group but the winners has emerge and those who contested and lobby for the post are advised to join the winning team.
The new Mogaji while thanking all leaders who worked tirelessly to the point of crowning him as Mogaji , said today his Another day in the history of De-metric journey and day to always remember for good, he appreciates all well-wishers and pledge to operate an open door policy, he extends hands of friendship to all and promise to be a good ambassador of the group, he said he will make sure he looked and study the De-metrics chieftaincy archive and get all aggrieved and competitors with another title under Mogaji leadership, he said both Barrister Tunde and Mr Kayode Jolayemi, Prince and others will be compensated with titles soonest but must cooperate and support his reigns and comport themselves in the spirit of sportsmanship
