A member of the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Hon. Sunday Adepoju has showered encomium on the Acting Rector of The Polytechnic, Ibadan,Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi for effectively executing and managing TETFUND projects in the institution.
Hon. Sunday Adepoju,a former two term member of the House of Representatives who represented Ido and Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, stated this when he led a TETFUND delegation to monitor TETFUND projects at The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
” I’m very impressed with the quality of work I’ve seen. There are no abandoned projects.The buildings are being monitored, everything is okay but you can do better.
” I’m not expecting anything less from what have seen. The Institution has been in the fore front of technological development . It has produced a lot of people graduate that are doing well in the fields of human endeavor ” Hon. Adepoju further said.
The TETFUND Board of Trustees member also appreciated the management of the Institution for decorating him as an ambassador of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, adding that he earned his National Diploma at The Polytechnic, Ibadan in 1984.
He assured the management team of
TPI that fund approved for maintenance of some of the facilities would be released as soon as possible to take immediate care of such facilities.
In his response, the
Acting Rector of the Institution,Dr Taiwo Abideen Lasisi thanked the TETFUND boss for the confidence in the management of the institution on the maintenance and Management of TETFUND projects.
He assured him that the institution under his watch would continue to live up to the expectation of the proprietor and its numerous stakeholders. Soladoye Adewole
