The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has restated his administration’s commitment to deepening development and strengthening grassroots governance in the council area.
Hon. Sanda made the pledge on Wednesday during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) local government meeting in Egbeda, where party leaders, stakeholders and members convened to review progress and deliberate on strategies to sustain delivery of good governance.
While addressing party faithful, the council boss commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for what he described as exemplary leadership anchored on transparency, infrastructural expansion and citizen-focused policies. He noted that the governor’s developmental strides have continued to reinforce the PDP’s strength and public trust across the state.
Hon. Sanda reaffirmed that his administration remains aligned with Governor Makinde’s development blueprint, adding that more impactful and sustainable projects will be delivered across communities in Egbeda.
He urged party stakeholders to maintain unity, loyalty and collective focus, stressing that sustained progress requires teamwork, mutual respect and dedication to shared goals.
The meeting ended with renewed expressions of support for Governor Makinde’s administration and Hon. Sanda’s developmental agenda for Egbeda.
Dignitaries at the meeting included the Vice Chairman, Hon. Busari Olayemi; Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo (Simple); Hon. Olusola Olakanmi; and Chief (Mrs.) Olajumoke Lawal (Iya Pineapple).
