The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda, has presented official vehicles to key management staff of the council in a move aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving service delivery at the grassroots.
The beneficiaries include the Director of Finance and Supplies, Alhaji Hammed Lateef, and the Director of Administration and General Services, Mrs. Adekunle.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, Hon. Sanda said the provision of official vehicles was designed to support the effective discharge of duties by the council’s principal officers, particularly in ensuring seamless administrative and financial operations.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to staff welfare, institutional support, and the strengthening of governance structures at the local government level, noting that empowering senior officials with essential working tools would foster better coordination and improved service delivery to residents of Egbeda.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the chairman for the gesture, describing it as timely and motivating. They pledged renewed dedication to their responsibilities and assured the council leadership of their continued support towards the realization of the administration’s developmental objectives.
