

The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, under the Leadership of Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana has extended warm greetings to Muslim and Christian youths across Oyo State as they observe the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent.
In a goodwill message released to mark the twin spiritual periods, the Agency described Ramadan and Lent as seasons deeply rooted in faith, sacrifice, self-discipline, love, and compassion, noting that both observances underscore shared values that bind communities together.
The Agency encouraged youths in the state to use the period for reflection, spiritual renewal, and positive engagement, while upholding the principles of peaceful coexistence, unity, and selfless service to humanity.

According to the statement released by the Head of the Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Falana says on behalf of the executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde the commitment of young people to these virtues remains vital to sustaining harmony and driving collective progress across communities in the state.
The Agency further prayed that the seasons inspire renewed hope, strengthen social bonds, and deepen mutual understanding among adherents of both faiths.
It expressed optimism that the lessons of Ramadan and Lent would contribute to continued peace, development, and prosperity in Nigeria, reaffirming its dedication to youth-focused initiatives that promote unity and inclusive growth.
The message concluded with best wishes to all Muslim youths during Ramadan and to Christian youths during the Lenten season.
