The fourth edition of the Annual Ramadan Lecture will hold on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Egbeda Local Government Secretariat in Oyo State. The event is scheduled to commence at 10 a.m.
Themed “Combating Insecurity in a Plural Nation: Islamic Solution for Peace and Security,” the lecture is designed to promote peaceful coexistence and address prevailing security challenges through Islamic perspectives.
The programme will feature Habibulahi Adekunle Bukhari as the keynote speaker. The Chief Imam of the Akobo and Environs Muslim Community is also expected to deliver a special address as guest speaker.
The event is being hosted by Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, who has invited residents, Islamic faithful and members of the wider public to attend.
Organisers say the annual lecture forms part of ongoing efforts to leverage religious teachings to foster unity, promote security awareness and encourage peaceful living within the community.
Attendance is open to both Muslims and non-Muslims.
