As Christians across Nigeria and the world celebrate the joyous occasion of Easter, a gubernatorial hopeful in Oyo State, Prof. Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin, has extended warm greetings to the faithful, calling for renewed hope, unity, and commitment to societal growth.
In his Easter message released to news men, Prof. Shangodoyin, who currently serves as the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources in Oyo State, congratulated Christians for witnessing yet another Easter celebration, which symbolizes sacrifice, resurrection, and victory over adversity.
He emphasized the significance of Easter as a period for reflection on the virtues of love, selflessness, and perseverance, urging residents of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to imbibe these values in their daily lives.

The gubernatorial hopeful also used the opportunity to commend the leadership of the current governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, noting ongoing efforts toward development in the state while encouraging collective support for initiatives that promote economic growth and stability.
Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, Prof. Shangodoyin reaffirmed his dedication to the advancement of Oyo State, pledging to prioritize sustainable energy development, job creation, and improved living standards if given the mandate to lead.
