Following the inauguration of all the ten councilors elected in Itesiwaju local government after the last local government election, there seems to be triction in the election of house leadership.
www.oyoparrot.com gathered that in a bid to elect the house leadership, there are many political interests and possible imposition which lead to rancor and imbroglio among the leaders of the party and the councillors.
It was revealed that one part of the leaders of the party is against the possibility of a particular winner of the office of leader of the house while the other part of the leader who are majority of the councilors insist on election of the house leadership through secret ballot in which those the party kicked against election through ballot voting.
It was also gathered that leaders and stakeholders have forced the council chairman Hon. Ojo Monsuru Owoyemi to suspend the house leadership selection till further notice
