The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Southwest Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Akande, has extended warm felicitations to his counterpart in Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a formal congratulatory message released on Monday from the Ibadan Southwest Council Secretariat, Akande commended Adeojo’s leadership style and his commitment to grassroots governance.
“On behalf of the government and people of Ibadan Southwest Local Government, I heartily congratulate Hon. Sheriff Adeojo on the commemoration of his birthday,” the statement read.
“Hon. Adeojo has demonstrated consistency, humility in service, and a strong resolve to advance the welfare of the people of Ido Local Government. His dedication to duty is commendable.”
Akande noted the strategic importance of inter-council collaboration, particularly between Ibadan Southwest and Ido, which share geographical boundaries, markets, and socio-economic interests.
“Ido and Ibadan Southwest are contiguous local governments with shared development priorities. Hon. Adeojo’s disposition towards partnership and peaceful coexistence has strengthened our joint efforts to deliver dividends of democracy to our constituents,” he said.
The chairman also acknowledged Adeojo’s focus on rural infrastructure, healthcare delivery, and youth inclusion since assuming office.
Akande prayed for the celebrant’s continued good health, wisdom, and success in office. He is a good brother of mine said the chairman.
“I pray that Almighty Allah grants you many more years in sound health, greater wisdom to lead, and the capacity to achieve more for the people of Ido Local Government,” he added.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo is currently serving his first term as Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government. He has been recognized for ongoing projects in primary healthcare, road rehabilitation, and community engagement across the council.
