The Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Akande, has joined family, friends, and political associates to celebrate the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Ojo, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued on Thursday in Ibadan, Akande described Commissioner Ojo as a bridge between government and the grassroots, and a leader whose wealth of experience continues to add value to governance at the local level in Oyo State.
“Hon. Ademola Ojo is a thoroughbred administrator and a true grassroots mobilizer. Since his appointment as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, he has worked tirelessly to ensure synergy between the state government and the 33 local governments. His door is always open, and his commitment to the progress of our councils is worthy of emulation,” Akande said.
The Council Chairman noted that Commissioner Ojo’s leadership style reflects the vision of the present administration in Oyo State to bring government closer to the people through effective local government administration and traditional institutions.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Ibadan South West Local Government, I celebrate a leader, a mentor, and a brother. Your passion for service, humility, and dedication to the development of our state are qualities that inspire many of us in the local government system,” he added.
Akande prayed that Almighty Allah grant the celebrant more years in good health, wisdom, and the grace to continue serving the people of Oyo State.
“Happy birthday, sir. May this new age bring greater opportunities to serve and more milestones for our dear state,” Akande concluded.
