The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has joined family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in celebrating the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, popularly known as Ijaya, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message made available through his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Hon. Olufade described the celebrant as a seasoned administrator, accomplished grassroots politician, and committed public servant whose wealth of experience and dedication continue to contribute significantly to the success of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration and the development of Oyo State.
Olufade noted that Hon. Ojo’s remarkable journey, from his years of service with the Federal Road Safety Commission to his leadership roles as Caretaker and Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), and his current position as Commissioner, reflects a consistent commitment to public service, grassroots development, and humanity.
According to him, the celebrant has distinguished himself not only through his political achievements but also through his humility, wisdom, loyalty, and ability to build bridges across political and social divides.
“Hon. Ademola Ojo is not just a political leader; he is a mentor, a bridge builder, and a dependable public servant who has consistently demonstrated loyalty, wisdom, and an uncommon passion for the growth and development of our dear state.
“His wealth of experience and commitment to grassroots governance have continued to make a meaningful difference in the administration of local governments across Oyo State,” Olufade said.
The Ibadan North Local Government Chairman further commended Ojo for his contributions to strengthening local government administration and advancing the interests of traditional institutions across the state, describing his service as valuable and worthy of recognition.
Olufade prayed that Almighty God would continue to bless the celebrant with sound health, wisdom, strength, longevity, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
