The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Sen. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday and first anniversary on the throne.
In a goodwill message issued on Friday, Oyedele joined the Olubadan-in-Council, Ibadan Mogajis, indigenes and residents of Ibadanland in celebrating the monarch on the significant milestones.
He described Oba Ladoja as an accomplished statesman and respected traditional ruler whose contributions to the growth and development of Ibadanland and Oyo State span several decades.
The Egbeda council boss noted that the Olubadan’s leadership qualities, wealth of experience and commitment to public service had continued to make him a source of inspiration to the people.
According to him, Oba Ladoja’s experience as a former governor of Oyo State has further enriched his role as the traditional head of Ibadanland, particularly in promoting peace, unity and progress among the people.
Sanda also commended the monarch for providing fatherly guidance and using his position to foster harmony and development across Ibadanland.
He prayed to God to grant Oba Ladoja continued good health, wisdom and longevity, while wishing him a peaceful and successful reign and many more years of impactful service to Ibadanland and humanity.
