The Ibadan Foodstuff Sellers Association, Bodija Market, Beans Section, has expressed profound appreciation to the administration of Ibadan North Local Government, under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for its tremendous support towards the successful hosting of its Ewa Day celebration.
The association, through its Chairman, Alhaji Mumini Adigun, described the support received from the local government as remarkable, noting that the intervention and contributions of the council chairman and the management staff played a significant role in making the celebration memorable and successful.
Adigun stated that the administration of Hon. Olufade had demonstrated an unprecedented level of commitment and support for market men and women across Ibadan North, describing it as one of the most supportive administrations the market community had experienced.
According to him, Olufade has consistently demonstrated a genuine sense of belonging with the trading community, adding that the chairman does not see market men and women as people to govern from a distance but as an integral part of the community whose welfare and economic prosperity deserve attention.
He particularly commended the chairman and the management staff of Ibadan North Local Government for their collective contributions, cooperation and commitment, which helped give the association’s Ewa Day celebration the colour, excitement and success it deserved.
The Beans Section chairman further expressed appreciation to the Governor of Oyo State and Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) presidential candidate, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for providing the political and administrative leadership that produced a vibrant local government chairman who, according to him, is extending the developmental vision and governance approach of the state government to the grassroots.
Alhaji Mumini Adigun noted that the impact of Olufade’s administration was increasingly visible across Bodija International Market, stressing that the market community could hardly express enough gratitude for the attention, support and developmental interventions extended to traders.
He reaffirmed the association’s continued support for the Olufade-led administration, assuring that the relationship between the local government and the market community would remain strong.
He also offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, protection and blessings upon the council chairman, wishing him success in his endeavours and praying that God grants him the desires of his heart.
