Dear Youths of Oyo State;
We understand that protests are a fundamental right and a powerful way to express your concerns and demand change. However, we must remember that damaging state properties during protests will only harm us in the long run. These properties are crucial for our social and economic activities, and their destruction will massively affect the same youths who rely on them.

In light of the proposed nationwide protests, we are organizing a stakeholders’ meeting on Monday, July 29th, 2024, at the House of Chiefs, House of Assembly Complex, Parliament Building Secretariat, Ibadan. The meeting will commence at 9:00 am.

This meeting, organized under the leadership of His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, aims to address the concerns of our youths while ensuring the preservation of our state’s assets. We have invited key stakeholders, including Hon. Titilope Gbadamosi, Hon. Edward Adebo Ogundoyin, Hon. Wasiat Adegoke, Hon. Seun Fakorede, Hon. Micheal Ogunsina, Hon. Victor Olojede, and myself, Prince Adebowale Falana, to engage in meaningful dialogue with you.
Let’s come together to discuss and find peaceful solutions that will benefit all. Your voice is important, and we are here to listen and support you.
Thank you.
Prince Adebowale Falana
Chairman, Oyo State Agency for Youth Development
