The acting Rector of The Polytechnic ibadan, Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi has bagged two awards in recognition of his contributions to the development of education and for being an astute administrator with passion for youth development.
The first award was presented by Ibadan AI Masterclass 2024 in recognition of his contributions to educational development,technology,vocational and youth development in Oyo state on Saturday 16th of November.
The second Award was presented by The Association of Southern Nigerian Students made up of students from the South-West,South-South and South-East of Nigeria. The award tagged 2024 National Award of Honor classified Dr. Taiwo Abideen Lasisi as Administrator of the year.
The award formally presented to him on Tuesday 19th of November is in recognition of his strategic leadership in students’ development across southern Nigeria.
Dr.Lasisi appreciated both bodies that presented the awards and promised to continue to do his best for the development of The Polytechnic,Ibadan as well as education in general.
Noting that the development of the youths is germane to the overall development of the country, the TPI acting Rector promised to always embrace the youths in all his activities within and outside The Polytechnic,Ibadan .
