The Gabriel Foundation, a philanthropic arm of GTMIKE Agro Ventures, has taken a significant step in supporting the educational pursuits of talented and determined students. Led by Gabriel Timileyin Michael, the foundation has awarded a scholarship to Lawal Akeemot Adesalewa, the first runner-up in the Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency’s One-day House of Representatives Competition.
The scholarship, valued at ₦500,000, aims to provide Akeemot with the necessary resources to excel in her studies. The funds were disbursed in five separate transactions, ensuring full transparency and proper allocation. The breakdown of the funds includes; ₦281,000 for tuition, ₦60,000 for accommodation, ₦150,000 for feeding, and ₦9,000 for charges.
Akeemot, a current undergraduate student of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ibadan, is a testament to the impact that The Gabriel Foundation aims to make. With this scholarship, she can now focus on her studies and pursue her dreams without financial burdens.
