As Nigeria joins the world in celebrating Children’s Day, the Executive Chairman of Atiba Local Government, Hon. Wahab Adetunji WABKEM, has sent a heartfelt message to all children in Atiba LG and Oyo State at large, describing them as the pride and hope for a brighter, better tomorrow.

In his message, Hon. WABKEM emphasized the importance of nurturing and protecting the dreams of every child. “Today is not just a celebration—it’s a reminder that our children are the seeds of greatness. In their laughter, we find joy; in their dreams, we find direction; and in their growth, we find hope for a more prosperous Oyo State.”

He acknowledged the role of parents, teachers, and caregivers in shaping the minds of the young ones, while reaffirming the commitment of Atiba LG under his leadership to continue supporting programs that enhance education, health, and overall well-being of children in the area.

“As a father and public servant, I believe every child deserves a safe environment, quality education, and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our administration in Atiba LG will continue to prioritize policies that uplift and empower the next generation,” he said.

Hon. WABKEM also encouraged children to stay focused, be respectful, and always believe in their dreams. He reminded them that they are never too young to make a difference and that their voices matter in building a better society.
