He further challenged the benefiting communities to see the facilities as their collective property, urging them to ensure proper usage and maintenance rather than the usual perception that such projects belong to government alone.

At the School of Science, Oyo, where the Physics Laboratory was renovated, Mrs. Karounwi Maria, Permanent Secretary representing the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Segun Olayiwola, expressed delight at the intervention. She described the renovation as a timely and practical demonstration of commitment to advancing science education, noting that it would inspire better learning outcomes among students.

In his remarks, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji (WABKEM) reiterated his administration’s determination to prioritize the welfare of the people, particularly in critical areas such as water, education, and infrastructure. He appealed to community leaders and residents to jealously guard and maintain the facilities, emphasizing that “one good turn deserves another.”

The event was graced by members of both the legislative and executive arms of Atiba Local Government, PDP stalwarts, principal officers of the local government, community leaders, religious leaders, and residents, all of whom praised WABKEM for delivering projects that directly impact the lives of the people.
