

Falana Felicitates Muslims on Maulud Nabiyy, Charges Youths to Imbibe Prophet’s leadership and moral compass
The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended warm greetings and felicitations to the Muslim faithful across the state and beyond on the occasion of Maulud Nabiyy, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Friday by the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Adebowale described the Maulud celebration as a time for reflection on the life, teachings, and virtues of the Prophet, urging Muslims to embody his message of peace, compassion, humility, and unity.

“Maulud Nabiyy is not just a celebration; it is a reminder of the Prophet’s exemplary character and unwavering commitment to justice and righteousness. I encourage all Muslim faithful to use this period to pray for peace, progress, and unity in our state and the nation at large,” Adebowale stated.
He also called on the youth to take inspiration from the Prophet’s leadership and moral compass, emphasizing the importance of discipline, integrity, and community service in nation-building.
The Chairman reaffirmed the Oyo State government’s commitment to fostering religious harmony and youth development, adding that Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration continues to prioritize inclusiveness and empowerment for all segments of society.
Adebowale concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous and spiritually fulfilling Maulud celebration.
