The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has felicitated his father, Chief Babatunde Tijani, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a warmly worded statement personally signed by the Chairman and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Hon. Kamorudeen described Oloye Tijani as “a rare gift from God, a pillar of strength, and an embodiment of wisdom whose life continues to inspire generations.”
“Today, I join family members, friends, well-wishers, and the entire Lagelu community to celebrate our icon, a disciplinarian par excellence, and a selfless community leader, Chief Babatunde Tijani, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday,” the statement read.
Hon. Kamorudeen paid glowing tributes to Oloye Tijani’s years of meritorious service to Lagelu and Oyo State, highlighting his unparalleled contributions to community development, youth empowerment, and peaceful coexistence among diverse groups.
“Your exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment to truth, and passion for the progress of our people remain a guiding light for me and many others. You have not only raised a family but built a legacy of integrity, hard work, and service to humanity,” the Chairman added.
The Lagelu helmsman prayed for continued good health, divine wisdom, and longer life for Chief Tijani, expressing optimism that the celebrant would witness many more years in sound health and peace.
