The Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, has congratulated Honourable Ramota Agberemi RAD on her appointment as Director of Women Mobilization for the Bimbo Adekanmbi Governorship Campaign.
In a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan, Hon. Adegoke described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Hon. Agberemi has consistently demonstrated capacity, commitment to women empowerment, and grassroots mobilization over the years.
“I heartily congratulate my sister and colleague, Hon. Ramota Agberemi RAD, on this well-earned appointment as Director of Women Mobilization for the Bimbo Adekanmbi Governorship Campaign,” the Commissioner said.
“Hon. Agberemi RAD is a leader with a proven track record. Her passion, organizational skills, and connection with women across Oyo State will be a huge asset in driving the women agenda of the campaign and ensuring massive women participation in 2027.”
Hon. Adegoke noted that women constitute a critical voting bloc, and the role of women mobilization will be key to the success of the campaign. She expressed confidence that Hon. Agberemi RAD will galvanize women across the 33 local governments behind the vision of Chief Bimbo Adekanmbi to deliver purposeful and inclusive leadership in Oyo State.
She further reaffirmed her commitment to working with all women and youth stakeholders to ensure that women in Oyo State are carried along and given opportunities to contribute meaningfully to governance.
“I have no doubt that under Hon. Agberemi RAD’s leadership, the women wing of the campaign will be vibrant, strategic, and result-oriented. I wish her and the entire campaign team success,” she added.
Hon. Ramota Agberemi RAD’s appointment is seen as part of the early strategic moves by the Bimbo Adekanmbi campaign to consolidate women support ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.
