

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has congratulated the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and his wife, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on their conferment with prestigious chieftaincy titles by the Eleruwa of Eruwa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola (Ajobo Olurin I).
Governor Makinde was honoured with the title of Aare Asoludero of Eruwaland, while his wife was conferred with the title of Yeye Asoludero of Eruwaland.

In a congratulatory message, Oyedele described the honours as well-deserved recognition of the Makindes’ contributions to the development, peace, unity and prosperity of Oyo State.


According to him, the conferment of the Aare Asoludero title on Governor Makinde reflects the growing recognition of his administration’s efforts to promote development and strengthen the relationship between government and traditional institutions across the state.
Oyedele said the recognition was particularly significant coming from the Eleruwa and the people of Eruwaland, noting that traditional honours of such magnitude underscore the importance of the Governor’s leadership and contributions to the state.
The Egbeda council chairman also congratulated Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde on her emergence as Yeye Asoludero of Eruwaland, describing the honour as an acknowledgement of her support for her husband and her contributions to the welfare and development of the people.
He prayed that God would continue to grant Governor Makinde and his wife wisdom, sound health, strength and longevity to enable them sustain their service to humanity and contribute further to the growth and prosperity of Oyo State.
Oyedele further congratulated the Eleruwa of Eruwa and the entire people of Eruwaland for recognising and honouring the Governor and his wife, describing the conferment as a demonstration of the enduring bond between the traditional institution and the administration.
He expressed confidence that the recognition would further strengthen the spirit of unity and collaboration among the various traditional communities and the government in the collective pursuit of a more prosperous Oyo State.
