The Director-General of the Senator Ajadi Oguntoyinbo Campaign Organisation, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has led the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Oyo Central Senatorial Candidate, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, on a grassroots consolidation and thank-you tour across the five federal constituencies in Oyo Central Senatorial District.
The tour, which focused on appreciating party leaders, stakeholders, members and supporters for their loyalty and commitment, also provided an opportunity to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures ahead of forthcoming political engagements.
The five federal constituencies that make up Oyo Central Senatorial District are Oyo Federal Constituency; Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency; Oluyole Federal Constituency; Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency; and Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency.
Addressing stakeholders during the tour, Ambassador Ajadi expressed appreciation to APM leaders, members and supporters across the district for their continued support and dedication to the party.
He reaffirmed his commitment to building a united, inclusive and formidable political structure capable of providing effective representation and responding to the needs and aspirations of the people of Oyo Central.
Ajadi emphasised that his political ambition would be driven by consultation, inclusiveness, teamwork and meaningful grassroots participation. He noted that the collective strength and unity of APM members across the five federal constituencies would be crucial to achieving the party’s objectives.
Also speaking, Oyedele thanked party leaders, stakeholders and members across Oyo Central for their loyalty, cooperation and steadfast commitment to the APM.
He called for sustained unity, consultation and grassroots mobilisation, assuring stakeholders that the campaign organisation would continue to pursue a people-oriented approach while working to strengthen the party’s political structure across the district.
The tour culminated at the Egbeda Local Government area, where a newly renovated hall at the SDP facility was commissioned.
The renovation was facilitated through the intervention of the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele.
The newly refurbished facility is expected to serve as a centre for meetings, community engagements, party activities and other initiatives aimed at promoting grassroots development and enhancing interaction among political and community stakeholders.
The commissioning further underscored the commitment of the organisers to strengthening grassroots engagement and providing functional spaces for sustained community and political activities across Egbeda.
