Hon. Oyeshina Oyedeji, representing Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, and Iwajowa federal constituency, had commissioned a block of six fully equipped classrooms at ADS Primary School, Eiyele Okeho, on November 9, 2024. This gesture showcases his commitment to empowering future generations.
Hon. Oyeshina has sponsored 42 students on scholarship at SAF Polytechnic, Iseyin. He has also trained and distributed laptops to 80 youths in software engineering and mobile application development. Additionally, he plans to procure tractors for each local government, with one already operational in Kajola.
During the commissioning, Hon. Oyeshina highlighted his achievements since assuming office on June 13, 2023. These include; distribution of 80 laptops to youths, training of 12 selected youths in video editing, sponsorship of 42 students on scholarship, procurement of tractor for farmers, distribution of fertilizer and improved seedlings to farmers, grading of local farm roads, empowerment support for over 500 youths and women, creation of microcredit union for market women and many more.
He distributed 20,000 exercise books and mathematical sets to elementary schools and working tools, such as toolboxes, sewing machines, and hair dryers, to artisans.
Teachers commended Hon. Oyeshina’s gesture, stating the donated materials will boost students’ morale and assure them of a brighter future.
Hon. Oyeshina encouraged beneficiaries to see the items as a way out of poverty, enabling them to earn a living. He assured those who didn’t receive items that his plan is to serve everyone better, focusing on enhancing development in his constituency.
Present at the event are the PDP chairman in Kajola local government, Hon. Johnson Ojebiyi, the Education secretary in Kajola, representatives of the Zonal Inspector of Education, the general Manager of SEAP FM and prominent individuals came to cheer the honorable for such great achievement.
