The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has felicitated with the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the people, management and staff of Egbeda Local Government, Oyedele described the Commissioner as a dedicated public servant whose commitment to effective local government administration has contributed significantly to the development and progress of Oyo State.
The Egbeda council boss commended Ojo’s leadership, wisdom and commitment to duty, noting that his contributions have continued to strengthen the relationship between the Oyo State Government and the various local government administrations across the state.
Oyedele further lauded the Commissioner’s efforts towards promoting effective governance at the grassroots, describing his role as crucial to the successful implementation of policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
He expressed confidence that Ojo would continue to bring his wealth of experience and leadership qualities to bear in the service of Oyo State and humanity.
“On behalf of the good people, management and staff of Egbeda Local Government, I warmly celebrate with you on this special occasion. Your commitment, wisdom and exemplary leadership continue to inspire confidence in the administration of local governments across Oyo State.
“As you mark another year, I pray Almighty God to grant you sound health, greater wisdom, abundant grace and many more fruitful years in the service of humanity and our dear state,” Oyedele said.
The council chairman wished the Commissioner greater accomplishments, joy and divine blessings in his new age, while praying for continued success in his public service career.
