

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele (Lajue), has congratulated Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the successful rescue of the pupils and teachers abducted from the Ahoro-Esinle community in Oriire Local Government Area.
In a statement made available to journalists, Hon. Oyedele described the safe return of the victims as a heartwarming development that has brought relief to their families, the people of Oyo State, and Nigerians at large.

The council chairman commended Governor Makinde for his proactive leadership, swift response, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of residents. He noted that the successful rescue operation reflects the state government’s determination to tackle insecurity and ensure that schools remain safe environments for teaching and learning.


According to him, the outcome of the rescue effort further demonstrates the effectiveness of the Governor’s security strategies and the synergy among security agencies working to protect communities across the state.
Hon. Oyedele also appreciated the gallantry and professionalism of the security personnel involved in the operation, describing their efforts as commendable and worthy of recognition.
While expressing gratitude to Almighty God for the safe return of the victims, the Egbeda chairman prayed for the children’s and teachers’ speedy emotional and psychological recovery from the traumatic experience. He also prayed for continued divine wisdom, strength, and protection for Governor Makinde as he continues to provide purposeful leadership for Oyo State.
