Coalition for Democratic Accountability and Good Governance (CDAGG) Congratulates Hon. WABKEM On Emergence As APM Candidate, Commend Makinde, Sen Monsurat, Party Leadwrship For Deepening Democracy
A non-governmental organisation committed to the promotion of democracy, good governance, accountability and sustainable grassroots development has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Atiba Local Government, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji (WABKEM), on his emergence as the Allied People’s Movement (APM) candidate for the forthcoming 2026 Oyo State Local Government Election.
In a statement issued on behalf of the organisation, the group described Hon. Adetunji’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership, performance in office and unwavering commitment to delivering quality governance and people-oriented development at the grassroots.

Similarly, the organisation commended the dedication and unity demonstrated by the Atiba Local Government Party Leaders, Local Government Executive Committee, Ward Executive Committees, delegates and stakeholders whose commitment ensured a peaceful and successful emergence of the party’s candidate.
The group further appreciated the good people of Atiba Local Government for their steadfast support, political maturity and unwavering belief in democratic ideals, noting that their continued participation remains the bedrock of sustainable grassroots governance.
