The Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman of the Association of Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State (ALGON), Hon. Sanda Sikiru, has congratulated two notable political figures in the state—Hon. Rahman Adepoju, Chairman of Ibadan North-West Local Government, and Hon. Olajide Emmanuel AKT, member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Lagelu State Constituency—on their birthdays.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Hon. Sanda described Hon. Rahman Adepoju as a “passionate mobilizer” dedicated to public service, peacebuilding and community development. He commended Adepoju’s steadfast commitment to sustainable and infrastructural growth in Ibadan North-West, adding that his humility, wisdom and wealth of political experience continue to inspire emerging leaders across the state.
Hon. Sanda also celebrated Hon. Olajide Emmanuel AKT, who doubles as Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government, portraying him as a dynamic and loyal representative whose partnership with Governor Seyi Makinde has contributed significantly to the development strides recorded under the current administration. He noted that Olajide remains one of the governor’s most trusted young allies in driving transformative governance.
The Egbeda council boss offered prayers for both celebrants, wishing them greater achievements, renewed strength and continued service to the people of Oyo State.
