GSM Advocates, a socio-political group loyal to Governor Seyi Makinde, has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdulrahmon Bayo Lawal, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a symbol of unity and a lover of peace.
In a goodwill message issued in Ibadan on Monday, the group lauded the Deputy Governor for his loyalty, calm disposition, and commitment to the Makinde administration’s development agenda. It noted that Barr. Lawal has continued to discharge the duties of his office with diligence while fostering harmony across political and community lines.
The group said the Deputy Governor’s track record in public service, both as a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Oyo State and in his current role, reflects a consistent dedication to justice, equity, and inclusive governance. It added that his bridge-building approach has strengthened the relationship between government and the people.
GSM Advocates prayed for good health, wisdom, and more impactful years for Barr. Lawal, urging him to sustain his role as a stabilising force within the administration and across Oyo State.
“Barr. Bayo Lawal is a symbol of unity and a lover of peace. His maturity and experience continue to add value to governance in Oyo State,” the statement read.
The group reaffirmed its support for the Seyi Makinde led government and called on residents of the state to continue to support the Deputy Governor and the administration in delivering on its mandate.
